Exceptional Affairs was created out of the mutual interest and passion of two devoted women: Heidi Walden & Jenni Ward. Their organizational skills have assisted many with saving precious time and money in the planning process. Clients of Exceptional Affairs get the service of 2 dedicated coordinators for the price of one. Their job is to reduce your stress, while providing the ultimate event package. You will feel confident that no detail is overlooked.
Heidi has years of experience working with special events. After completing her degree in public relations, she continued to increase her planning portfolio while working in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New York. Her education has also taken her through Australia and Kenya, which gives her a great dynamic edge to add to any event. Serving in the past as a Freelance Wedding Consultant, she is now the co-founder of Exceptional Affairs.
Jenni began her career in event planning while in college. Since then she has received numerous certifications in time management, budget planning, customer service, and problem-solving. Born in Austin, she has also lived in San Marcos, San Antonio, and New Braunfels which has allowed her the opportunity to gather widespread information on vendors in each area and in-between. Whether the event is a state-wide corporate convention or an elaborate wedding, no project is out of her realm.
